Steel Building
Model Kit Details.

A PEMB model you assemble yourself.

PEMB stands for pre-engineered metal building. BeamWerx represents this building system in a modular 1:30 scale model kit, with separate framing members and bolt-together connections. Explore the assembly sequence for hobby building, hands-on learning, or steel building visualization.

What’s in the frame.

Columns, rafters, girts, purlins, bolts, and X-bracing.

Build it yourself.

Stand the columns, connect the rafters, and add the remaining parts. The Frame Kit leaves the structure exposed.

Choose your building size.

The 30 × 25 model represents a 30-foot-wide by 25-foot-long building and assembles to a 12″ × 10″ footprint. The 30 × 40 model has a 12″ × 16″ footprint. Both use 1:30 scale.

Frame Kit or Full Building Kit?

The Frame Kit includes the exposed framing and connections. The Full Building Kit adds wall panels, roof panels, windows, doors, and trim, with estimated shipping in May 2027.

Shop Frame Kits from $99 or explore Full Kit pre-orders from $179.

Build it again.

Take it apart and try another layout with compatible parts. Some builds need additional pieces.

BEFORE YOU BUILD

Good to know.

Which kit should I choose?

Choose the Frame Kit to build the exposed structure and its connections. The Full Kit pre-order includes the frame plus wall and roof panels, windows, doors, and trim. The Full Kit releases in May 2027 and is available for pre-order. Frame kits available now.

Are the parts steel?

The kits use polymer model parts to represent steel building framing and its connections.

What’s included in the Frame Kit?

Columns, rafters, girts, purlins, bolts, and X-bracing. Panels, windows, doors, and trim are not included.

Can I change my building?

Yes. Remove the bolts and rearrange compatible parts. Some layouts need additional pieces.

How do the Full Kit panels attach?

Hooks on the back of each wall panel engage the girts. Roof-panel hooks engage the purlins. Install adjacent panels from left to right with one full rib of overlap. Panels are supplied with hooks; hook sets can be removed where required for final fitment. Opening panels accept window and door accessories.
