Information we collect

When you subscribe to release updates, we collect your email address and signup date. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. For orders and pre-orders, we receive information needed to manage your purchase, such as your name, email, shipping and billing addresses, items ordered, payment status, and transaction details. A phone number may be collected if requested during checkout.

Our hosting and payment providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and request times to deliver their services, maintain security, and prevent fraud.

How we use information

• Process payments, manage orders and pre-orders, and arrange shipping.
• Send order confirmations, shipping notices, and updates about your purchase.
• Respond to questions, resolve issues, and handle refunds or disputes.
• Send kit-release and BeamWerx updates when you subscribe.

Payments through Stripe

Stripe processes payments through its checkout service. Payment-card details entered there are provided directly to Stripe; this website does not collect or store your full card number or security code. We can receive payment status and limited payment details needed to manage your order. Stripe handles information under its own Privacy Policy.

When information is shared

Information is shared with service providers as needed to operate BeamWerx, including website hosting and database services, payment processing, email delivery, and shipping or fulfillment providers. Our site uses Cloudflare-backed hosting and database services, and its email delivery integration uses Resend. Providers receive information relevant to the services they perform.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect rights and prevent fraud, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections.

Cookies and website technology

Hosting, security, and payment services may use cookies or similar technology needed to operate their services and prevent fraud. BeamWerx uses first-party analytics to count page views, visits, checkout-button clicks, traffic sources, and purchases. We use a random identifier in browser session storage, renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity, to group activity within a browser tab. The analytics records do not store your name, email, full referring URL, or IP address. If you proceed to checkout, this random reference may be sent to Stripe to connect a paid order to the visit. Raw analytics records are removed after 90 days as new website activity is recorded. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for this tracking. We do not include advertising pixels or a third-party marketing analytics script. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies may affect checkout or other features. External services have their own privacy and cookie policies.

Your choices and requests

You can stop promotional emails by using an unsubscribe link when provided or emailing support@beamwerx.com. We may still send messages needed to service an order.

Contact the same address to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about other privacy rights available where you live. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained for transactions, legal requirements, or dispute resolution. If you disagree with our response, contact us to request a review.

Retention and security

We retain information for the purposes described here, including fulfilling orders, providing support, maintaining necessary business records, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and why it is needed. No online service or method of storage can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send payment-card numbers or other sensitive financial details by email.

Children’s information

Purchases, email subscriptions, and customer inquiries should be made by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.

BeamWerx operates in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. We may update this policy as our services change. The effective date above identifies the latest version; additional notice will be provided when required.
